PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-stage transmission not needing another actuator for effecting speed change, being small and a low cost, and taking a big change gear ratio, and an instrument having the non-stage transmission. SOLUTION: When a crank 100 is rotated in an counterclockwise direction centering around a rotation center 103a, a rocker arm 102 is oscillated centering around 103b through a coupling rod 101. A crank rotation angleθand the absolute value of torque generated at the rocker arm 102 become as they are shown in Fig.3, and a rocker arm 102 is made to generate big torque in the vicinity of 0°, 180°, and 360°used as a dead-center. However, the crank is rotated at a certain measure of speed, and since the rocker arm 102 also has an inertia moment, torque is equalized as shown in Fig.3. When a crank radius r is changed, the oscillation angleαof the rocker arm 102 is also changed, and torque applied on the rocker arm 102 is also changed. In the non-stage transmission, a constitution is made such that the oscillation angleαof a rocker arm 102 is changed by changing a crank radius r, and further, even when oscillation to either of going and returning is effected, an output shaft is driven in one direction, and non-stage speed change is carried out.
