PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator abnormality diagnosis device capable of correctly and easily diagnosing an abnormal state of an elevator even if an engineer is not skilled. SOLUTION: The amplitude of the vibration is measured by a vibration acceleration sensor 1, and the operation of the wavelet transform to the data of the amplitude is performed by a wavelet transform operation unit 8 to generate the wavelet spectrum data having the time coordinates and the frequency coordinates. The amplitude of the vibration exceeding the allowable reference value in the wavelet spectrum data is extracted, and the time and the frequency related to the amplitude are collated with information on combination of the time with the frequency in which the allowable reference value of the amplitude of the vibration is present in a diagnosis database unit 11, and the abnormal part database in which a part of abnormality occurrence is corresponded to an estimated part when the amplitude over the allowable reference value is present at the applicable time and frequency.
