It is intended to provide an antibody or an antibody fragment capable of binding to ephrin B2 and inhibiting the angiogenetic activity of ephrin B2 and the proliferation activity of a mammary gland tissue. Namely, an antibody or an antibody fragment binding to ephrin B2 which is expressed in cells of a tissue with angiogenesis such as a tumor; a method of immunologically detecting ephrin B2 or a cell expressing ephrin B2 and a detection reagent therefor with the use of the antibody or the antibody fragment as described above; a diagnostic or a remedy for a disease, in which ephrin B2 participates, by using the antibody or the antibody fragment as described above; and a hybridoma producing the above-described antibody.
