<p>The present invention provides compounds that are effective against inhibiting topoisomerase (i.e., topoisomerase I and/or topoisomerase II). These compounds are used for treating cell-proliferative disorders. In some instances, these compounds have anticancer activity, e.g., against multi-drug resistant cancers.</p>
