<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of accurately removing background noise in an image sensor even with generation of disturbance light. <P>SOLUTION: Light shielding members 11 and 12 shielding incidence of light on a photodiode 14 constituting a pixel are provided in two positions at both horizontal ends of the image sensor 1. The average pixel value of the photodiode 14 is calculated for each of the light shielding members 11 and 12, the smaller value is selected, and an offset correction quantity to background noise is calculated based on the selected average pixel value. According to this, the background noise contained in output voltage of each photodiode can be accurately removed regardless of generation of disturbance light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
