PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high load transmission belt capable of preventing the generation of noise in travelling a belt and improving transmission efficiency by aligning blocks without oscillation and displacement, and keeping its lightweight without impairing the strength of the blocks. SOLUTION: In this high load transmission belt 1 provided with the plurality of blocks 1 along the longitudinal direction of a center belt 3, each block 2 has fitting grooves for inserting the center belt 3 on its both side faces, and has the approximately H-shape composed of an upper beam part 11, a lower beam part 12 and a pillar part connecting central parts of the upper and lower beam parts, a guide projecting part 18 is formed on one of front and rear faces of the block 2, a guide recessed part 19 is formed on the other side, and the blocks 2 are aligned by fitting the guide projecting parts 18 and the guide recessed part 19.
