PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inkjet head capable of preventing air bubbles from remaining in a common ink chamber while uniformizing the rigidity of the member forming the common ink chamber at a position corresponding to pressure chambers, thereby eliminating variation in ejection performance. SOLUTION: A common ink chamber 7 extends along the direction of a column formed by the plurality of pressure chambers and is disposed to be overlapped with at least part of the pressure chambers 36 when seen as a plane from the stacking direction. The interior of the common ink chamber 7 has a shape in which, at least at an end away from ink supply source, the cross sectional area in the plane orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the common ink chamber is gradually reduced as it gets away from the ink supply source. At least in part of the region having a shape which enables a reduction in the cross sectional area, a compensation member having a rigidity smaller than that of the member forming the common ink chamber 7 is disposed to be adjacent to ink such that the rigidity of the member forming the common ink chamber 7 at a position corresponding to the pressure chambers is approximately uniform along with the direction of the column.
