<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the size of a continuous sheet of sanitary paper such as toilet paper and kitchen paper without forming useless space for storing and to provide an apparatus which can contain two or more sheets of the sanitary paper and allows their continuous use without replacing operation. <P>SOLUTION: A rectangular parallelepiped is formed by accordion-folding a continuous sheet of sanitary paper (1) and is inserted into an apparatus (2) from its top or side.
