PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the opening end of a trunk lid from directly getting in contact with a bumper at the time of the over stroke of the trunk lid. SOLUTION: This trunk bumper rubber 1 is installed on the inner surface of the trunk lid 104 on the side of the opening end 104a to get in contact with the bumper 105 when the trunk lid is closed for absorbing an impact. The trunk bumper rubber 1 is provided with a base 2 installed and fixed to the inner surface of the trunk lid 104 on the side of the opening end 104a, and a lip 3 extended from the lower end of the base 2 rearward of a vehicle body in such a way that the tip of it is provided between the opening end 104a of the trunk lid 104 and the bumper 105 at the time of the over stroke of the trunk lid 104.
