<p>The device has a central control shaft, with axial shift in a selecting movement and rotating motion and a servo support mechanism for a gear. The mechanism is activated during the rotating motion of the central control shaft by transmission of the rotating motion over pins for the transmission of a hand switching force. A lever standing with the pins connects to a control valve of the servo support mechanism. The pins intervene for the transmission of the hand switching force in longitudinal slots to the extent of the control shaft and are arranged in the longitudinal slots, such that an axial shift is made possible for the control shaft.
