METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF IMMOBILIZING ARTICLES

FIELD: orthopedics and traumatology. SUBSTANCE: double-layer patch is cut out of jersey fabric covered with polymeric film from one side. Part of first layer is cut to fit accurately form and sizes of preset section of body. Part of second layer is cut out to be similar to the first layer part with allowance for thickness of filling space. Liquid polyurethane composition is poured into patchwork at rate of 0.15-0.4 g/sq.cm where it is distributed evenly. After frothing of composition patchwork is secured to given section of body by bandage and kept it thereon till polyurethane is hardened completely.
