<p>Production of threads, especially inner screw threads, comprises passing a shank tool (10) with profile protrusions (20) on the head (18) of the thread radially into a workpiece after inserting into the workpiece (16) opening initially on a peripheral site of the opening and carrying out a 360[deg] relative circular movement while maintaining the eccentricity (EX) of the rotating axis whilst the head of the thread also carries out a constant axial relative forward displacement movement (BV) corresponding to the thread pitch (P) which is to be produced. An independent claim is also included for a tool for producing threads.</p> |
