PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enclose a content for microcapsulation completely by using a clay mineral as an emulsion dispersant in preparing am emulsion of a phase containing the content to be enclosed. SOLUTION: After a content to be enclosed for microcapsulation is dispersed it melted in an organic solvent, this emulsion or solution is suspended in an aqueous solution containing a clay mineral and a constituent component for forming a microcapsule wall as an emulsion dispersant to obtain an O/W-type emulsion. A surfactant may also be used depending on necessity. Further, the O/W-type emulsion is suspended in an organic solvent to obtain a multiphase (O/W)/O-type emulsion, then a capsule is formed of the multiphase emulsion. That is, a chemical reaction for forming a capsule wall is promoted in the interface between an aqueous solution phase containing the above wall material constituting component and an organic solvent phase as a dispersion medium of the aqueous solution phase and the O/W-type emulsion. |
