<p>A cold shrink article including a fluoroelastomer composition comprising a first fluoroterpolymer having a molecular weight centered from about 107 to about 108. A second fluoroterpolymer included in the fluoroelastomer composition has a molecular weight centered at 104. The first fluoroterpolymer combines with the second fluoroterpolymer to provide a mixed terpolymer. Other components of the fluoroelastomer composition include a processing aid, a filler, an oil, and a curative. The fluoroelastomer composition upon curing at an elevated temperature provides the cold shrink article that has a permanent set value of 21% or less.</p> |
