FIELD: agriculture, in particular, harvesting of cereal crops using damaging of weed plant seeds. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves mowing, threshing and separating non-grain part of yield into individual flows of straw and chaff; separating weed plant seeds from grain heap and directing said seeds for crushing and damaging thereof; spreading straw and chaff over field. Grain combine comprises header, threshing apparatus, and air-screen type cleaning system. Additional screen and crushing device are positioned under main screens of cleaning system. Crushing device is adapted for mechanical crushing and damaging of weed plant seeds, followed by spreading thereof over field. ^ EFFECT: reduced contamination of harvested fields owing to separation and crushing of weed plant seeds to thereby eliminate germination of the latter. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
