<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like article packaging tool having no fear of damaging a thin-type display panel, capable of wrapping it one by one and excellent in ease of use. <P>SOLUTION: The plate-like article packing tool comprises a rectangular plate-like plastic bottom plate body A which is composed by protruding at least a pair of supporting bars 4 on the upper face of, and a rectangular plate-like plastic top plate body B which is composed by protruding at least a pair of supporting bars 4 on the lower face. The supporting rods of the bottom plate body are penetrated through the lower end openings of a fixed frame 10 provided on the display panel C, and the display panel is placed on the bottom plate body in a standing posture.
