<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital infection prevention apparatus, a hospital infection prevention method, and a hospital infection prevention program capable of preventing hospital infection via an unspecified number of incoming people. <P>SOLUTION: A system management server 20 uses a built-in hard disk to store entry plan information indicating each incoming person expected to enter a sick room in a medical institution and his/her expected time of entry, and makes it possible to obtain using an ID card reader 62 an authorized person identification code stored in the ID card for specifying any incoming person entering the sick room. When the authorized person identification code is obtained, the incoming person specified by the authorized person identification code is permitted to enter the room only if the person matches the expected incoming person indicated by the entrance plan information and if the difference between the time of this procedure and the expected time of entry indicated by the entry plan information is within a predetermined amount of time.
