AUCTION METHOD USING CHARACTER INFORMATION SERVICE

PURPOSE: An auction method using a character information service is provided to supply an auction service to subscribers conveniently and rapidly by transmitting auction information and a CBN(Call Back Number) or a URL of an auction businessman to subscribers using an SMS system of a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: An SMS message is created based on auction information from an auction businessman and a CBN or a URL of the auction businessman(S110). The SMS message is transmitted to each mobile station of subscribers(S120). The mobile stations are connects to the auction businessman through a telephone or the Internet based on the CBN or the URL included in the SMS message(S140, S150). A list of subscribers who wish to participate to an auction is created(S180). Auction progress information is supplied the mobile stations of the subscribers through the SMS message(S190). A successful bid is decided based on nominal prices from the mobile stations of the subscribers(S210). If a successful bid is decided, a contract price and information of the subscribers with respect to the bid are supplied to the mobile stations of the subscribers through the SMS message(S220).
