PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven capable of improving cooling efficiency of a component compartment. SOLUTION: This microwave oven includes a body casing 10 partitioned into the component compartment 13 and a cooking compartment 15 and having a component compartment penetrating part 21 penetrated through the component compartment, a fan assembly 50 having an intake fan installed in the body casing and blowing air to the component compartment penetrating part so as to cool the component compartment and a fan motor for driving the intake fan, and an air blowing guide installed in the component compartment penetrating part and guiding air blown by the intake fan to a heating component equipped in the component compartment.
