PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an engine oil pan in which stiffness of connection between an engine and a transmission is improved, and improvements in installation properties of a plate and bolts for connection other parts are both achieved without newly adding any workings. SOLUTION: A deep bottom part is provided on one side of the oil pan, and a relatively shallow part is provided in connection with the deep bottom part on the other side in the longitudinal direction. The bottom of the shallow bottom part is extended downward to provide a stiffener part. The area of the outward form of the stiffener part is made smaller than that of the opening of a transmission case, and the oil-pan connection face is provided on the side of the transmission case. A gap is provided between the connection face on the oil-pan side and the connection face on the case side. A plate is inserted in the gap after connection of the transmission case and the oil pan.
