PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder press forming apparatus which can exactly carry out the positioning of a die and a punch using a simple mechanism, and is suitable for carrying out the multiple-piece production. SOLUTION: This powder press forming apparatus comprises the die 31 arranged in a die set 30, an upper punch holder 10 holding a plurality of upper punches 11, and a lower punch holder 20 holding a plurality of lower punches 21. The upper punch holder and the lower punch holder comprise guide plates 13 which have a plurality of guide holes 13a for slidingly guide the tip end portions of the upper punches and the lower punches, and are mounted thereon so as to vertically move while keeping the parallelism with respect to the respective punch holders. The guide plates 13 are provided with at least two positioning pins 13b. The die 31 is provided with a plurality of die holes 31c and positioning holes 31d for fitting the positioning pins 13b thereon. The die 31 is supported on the die set 30 so as to move in the direction of its surface, and is provided with die fixing means 34 for fixing the die 31 on the die set 30 by pushing the upper surface of the outside periphery portions of the die 31.
