PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a felt shoe sole which decreases a loss of the side of the shoe sole and improves durability. SOLUTION: A felt shoe sole 3 is provided that plate-like felt which is formed by plastic fibers such as polypropylene, polyethylene tangled at random is cut along a shoe sole shape. The side 3c of the felt shoe sole 3 is provided with a stiffened part A in which rubber or plastics filling gaps between fibers S that form the felt shoe sole 3. The stiffened part A makes the fibers S on the side 3c of the felt shoe sole 3 hard to fall and fray. Therefore, the felt shoe sole 3 increases durability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
