The invention relates to a system and method of measurement for optically characterising the visual appearance of a material sample. The inventive system comprises an optical device (2) for lightening the sample and an optical device (10, 11, 12, 30) for forming the multi-angle optical signal of a light reflected by the sample. According to the invention, the optical forming device comprises optics for simultaneously forming several sample images and a parabolic deflector placed in front of said formation optics in such a way that each image having several analysis areas is produced at a distinct measuring angle of the sample. The image combining the images of all angles is projected on a spectral decomposition system (30). |
