<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat diseases caused by a stress-based reduction of a function effectively by reinforcing reduced corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF or adrenocorticotropic hormone-releasing factor) activities, since the stress-based reduction of the function shown by the low level of the CFR becomes a cause of several diseases. <P>SOLUTION: This new cycloartane type triterpene saponin, a CFR-reinforcing factor containing the saponin as an active ingredient and an adrenocorticotropic hormone secretion promotor at CRF stimulation are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
