<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic system allowing a user to accurately and easily change a washing program. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscopic apparatus reads identification information from a connected endoscope or treatment instrument using a reader/writer 21, refers to an endoscopic information server 1 based on the identification information, and writes information for determination obtained from the server as a response in the endoscope or treatment instrument. The subject endoscope washing device 3 reads the information for determination by a reader/writer 31 and determines the content of washing.
