PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box whose flaps can be more easily folded. SOLUTION: In the packaging box including four flaps extending from ends of sidewalls of a hexahedral box body for closing the opening of the box body, each of one pair of opposite flaps is formed to be an inverted trapezoidal shape which widens toward the end. When the sidewalls are set up into a parallelopiped, the inverted trapezoidal flap is less likely to locate inside the adjacent flap due to its widened shape. Therefore, the inverted trapezoidal flap does not interfere with the adjacent flap when folded inward, so that the flaps can be easily folded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
