<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet-switching circuit having large switch capacity which will not depend on the packet length. SOLUTION: An input buffer 406 storing packets is arranged for each input port 105. From a position information signal 407 of the packets, stored in the input buffer and an output information signal 403 of each packet, an output port determining part 404 determines each effective information signal 414, showing the position of a packet which each output port 6 should send out. Each selection buffer 413 arranged for each of the output ports 106 can select and store corresponding packets, on the basis of each effective information signal 414. All packets, stored in the input buffer 406, can be distributed to each of the output ports 106, so that the packet switch circuit having switch capacity which does not depend on the packet length can be realized.</p> |
