PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case of a lipstick or the like, and a method of filling the lipstick or the like, capable of securely preventing accidental falling while using the lipstick by firmly connecting the lipstick or the like to a tray member, permitting easy filling of the lipstick or the like, and capable of significantly reducing accidental damage to the lipsticks or the like. SOLUTION: In the storage case of the lipstick or the like, the tray member which is vertically moved inside a cylinder member, can be positioned higher than the upper dead point at the time of using the tray member when the tray member is filled with the lipstick or the like. The tray member of the storage case consists of a tray with a tray member engagement part formed at the upper part, and a tray member body with a rib which projects toward an inner side and where an engagement part is engaged with the tray member engagement part of the tray part, is formed.
