<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional coordinate input device capable of easily and accurately performing Z-axial input in addition to XY-plane input. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of spiral resistors 20 are arranged on an XY plane in a matrix. Since the spiral resistor 20 is deformed, when a pressing force F is applied, to change the contact area of the lower surface of an elastic part 22 with a connection part 11a, the resistance value of the resistor 20 can be reduced in accordance with the magnitude of the pressing force F. Therefore, the coordinate position on the XY plane corresponding to the pressing force F can be detected from displacement of a detection voltage Vout to the resistance value, and the Z-axial coordinate position can be detected as a pushdown quantity (or amplitude quantity) (H-h) corresponding to the pressing force F shown by the detection voltage Vout 2.
