PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recorder which can increase a recording speed without being dependent on the stagger pitch of the recording head and can obtain recording of high-quality with a better productivity, and to provide a recording head and an ink-jet recording method used therefor. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recorders 1, 40 are equipped with recording heads 6, 43-46 having two or more nozzles 21-39 for delivering inks, conveyance devices 3, 42 for conveying a recording medium P and control sections 8, 51 for controlling the ink delivery from the nozzles 21-39 of the recording heads 6, 43-46 so that a recording can be performed while sliding the recording pixel positions by integral multiple of pixel-width of recording resolution for every changing of the driving phases at driving the recording heads 6, 43-46 polyphase-wise.
