The connector has a housing (7) with an aperture accommodating a flexible cable (4) which contains three individually insulated conductor wires (14). The cable is held in a snap fastening with two spring arms. The outer insulation is stripped from the cable to allow separation of the three individually insulated conductor wires. The wires pass through guide holes (15) in the baseplate and are held in individual snap fasteners (18) between sides (19) of the baseplate assembly. The ends of the conductor wires are stripped of insulation.
