PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double clutch transmission formed in a compact structure and excellent in vehicle mountability despite the fact that it comprises two clutches and a plurality of gears forming six-stage gear ratios. SOLUTION: This double clutch transmission comprises a first input shaft 3 direct-coupled to the first clutch 1, first, third, and fifth speed drive gears 9, 11, and 13 direct-coupled to the second clutch 5 and fitted to a second input shaft 7 with the same rotation axis as that of the first input shaft and the first input shaft, and a first output shaft having second, fourth, and sixth speed drive gears 15 and 17 fitted to the second input shaft, a plurality of speed driven gears and a first output gear meshing with the speed drive gears on the first input shaft and the second input shaft. Also, the transmission comprises a second output shaft having a plurality of speed driven gears and the second output gear meshing with the speed drive gears on the first input shaft and the second input shaft and a differential 29 formed by meshing the first output gear and the second output gear with a ring gear.
