PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a follow current breaking device and an arc horn device improving a current breaking performance capable of sufficiently breaking the current even at a large current area. SOLUTION: The follow current breaking device has an insulated cylindrical body 10, on a base end part side of which an electrode tip part 15 is inserted and fixed. The insulated cylindrical body 10 is formed of polyamide resin, to which wet treatment is applied. A through-hole 21 is opened through the insulated cylindrical body 10. The through-hole 21 is composed of an electrode side small diameter part 18, into which a tip edge part 17a of the electrode tip part 15 is inserted, and an outlet side large diameter part 20 continued to the electrode side small diameter part 18, having an opening on a top end face 19 of the insulated cylindrical body 10.
