PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more clearly check a start of detecting action of a sensor from the outside of the sensor requiring a predetermined time for starting stable detecting action after turning a power source on. SOLUTION: This sensor, which detects a detection object and requires a predetermined time for starting stable detecting action after turning the power source on, is provided with a notification means such as an indicator notifying that it is a period before starting the stable detecting action after turning the power source on or that the stable detecting action is started.
