Process to cast lightweight aluminium alloy components with a rising supply of molten metal

<p>A low pressure casting process delivers a rising supply of a light metal, e.g. aluminium alloy, to a form with a downwards-directed inlet receiving hot metal from a rising tube. The upper end of the form has a separation arrangement facilitating removal of the form after completion of the hot metal charge. Independent claims are given for a low pressure casting process and the device used for the process.</p>
