<p>The invention relates to a dental instrument for operating a bleaching device using chemical and electro-optic means, such as in the field of dentistry in order to whiten teeth. The bleaching device makes use of electric currents or similar in a wet environment, thereby risking the possibility of a short circuit that could hinder the desired effects. In order to prevent the occurrence of one such short circuit during the performance of the different isolated operations by the practitioner, at least the part of the inventive instrument that does not correspond to the gripping part, i.e. the part that is intended to be introduced into the mouth or placed close thereto, is not electrically conductive.</p> |
