PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilized lock device of an information instrument which never locks the information instrument in the case that the information instrument is continuously used even after authentication of a user is not performed. SOLUTION: This device comprises a receiving means 206 for receiving authentication data from a portable electronic instrument 100; a determination means 212 for determining whether the authentication data are proper or not; an operation means for performing input to the information instrument; a detection means 214 for detecting whether the operation means is operated or not; and control means 201 and 213 controlling to lock the information instrument in a case that the determination means determines that received authentication data are not proper, and the detection means also detects that the operation means is not operated.
