PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "drive recorder" which performs information storage in such a manner that a statistic for a long period of time can be calculated. SOLUTION: A log data collection section 101 of the drive recorder 1 acquires log data indicating the present state of a vehicle from a sensor 2, an ECU 3, and a navigation system 4. A log information storage processing section 102 adds classifications indicating classifications of the information represented by the log data and a date and time indicating the log data acquisition date and time to the collected log data and stores the same in an HDD 18 as a log information record. A statistic data generation section 103 periodically extracts the log information record having the log data acquisition date and time prior to the past initial period T from the log information of the HDD 18 and deletes the extracted log information record from the HDD 18 after reflecting the contents of the extracted log information in the statistic information.
