PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera stand structure by which a camera can easily be mounted on a stand by using a connecting member for connecting the camera and a tripod, a camera attitude on the stand can be properly determined, and the camera can be tilted on the stand. SOLUTION: A connecting fitting 1 is used to connect the camera and the tripod. The connecting fitting 1 can be fitted in the dovetail groove 21a of an intermediate support member 2 by being slid. The intermediate support member 2 is attached to the stand 3. The intermediate support member 2 includes an elastically supported shoulder 21b (projecting part 21c). When the projecting part 21c is locked in a hole 1b provided for the tripod screw of the connecting fitting 1, the basic attitude of the camera 5 is determined. The shapes of the connecting fitting 1 and dovetail groove 21a are arcuate. By sliding the connecting fitting 1 within the dovetail groove 21a, the camera 5 is tilted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
