PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging element for a liquid crystal display and a method for packaging the liquid crystal display capable of being adapted for a size modification of accessories for the liquid crystal display by inclining the liquid crystal display under a state that the liquid crystal display having a handle at its back surface and the accessories for the liquid crystal display are integrally packaged and stored. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display 1 is held in its position through a fitting cavity 31 of a floor surface shock-absorbing material 3 and a fitting cavity 41 of a ceiling shock-absorbing material 4 under its forward inclination, thereby an inclination angle of a handle fixing arm 12b becomes substantially 10°with respect to a vertical line A. Due to this fact, it becomes possible to keep a distance X between the handle fixing arm 12b and a packaging box 5 for storing accessories for the liquid crystal at least 5 mm and also to thicken the ceiling shock-absorbing material 4a, resulting in that the present invention can adapt for an increased size of the packaging box 5 for storing accessories for the liquid crystal display.
