PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition without discharging harmful nitrosamine in its molding process, etc., of a tube, and further improving the adhesive property on molding the tube for improving processability, and the tube for a tire, consisting of the same. SOLUTION: This rubber composition contains based on 100 pts.wt. polymer consisting of a butyl-based rubber and/or an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, 1.3-3.5 pts.wt. total of a thiuram-based compound expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>4</SP>are each a≤4C non-straight chain type hydrocarbon group] and a zinc dithiocarbamate-based compound expressed by general formula (2) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>4</SP>are each a≥4C non-straight chain type hydrocarbon group], and 0.5-2.5 pts.wt. sulfur.
