PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition that gives a light-reflecting molded article having a very high surface gloss, emitting a small amount of nonvolatile components (gases), permitting direct formation of a light-reflecting metal layer without coating an undercoat or the like thereon and being excellent in heat resistance and adhesion to the metal layer, and exhibits good mold release when molding. SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition for obtaining the light-reflecting molded article having the light-reflecting metal layer formed thereon comprises (A) 100 pts.mass of a polyester resin mainly composed of an alkylene terephthalate recurring unit and, incorporated therewith, (B) 5-80 pts.mass of an inorganic filler having an average particle size of at most 5μm, and 0.1-5 pts.mass in total of a mold release agent comprising (C1) a fatty acid ester compound and (C2) a silicone compound.
