PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-belt type automatic transmission equipped with a driving pulley consisting of a fixed half body immovably fixed to a driving shaft and a movable half body movable in an axial direction of the driving shaft while sandwiching a V belt together with the fixed half body, wherein workability and durability can be improved by offering a structure for protecting a guide part and preventing the entry of dust without deteriorating assembling characteristic of the driving pulley. SOLUTION: A movable half body comprises a umbrella like flange part and a cylindrical shaft. A guide sleeve fixed to a driving shaft is engaged with the cylindrical shaft part of the movable half body on the outer periphery so as to support the movable half body in an axially movable and relatively irrotational state. A supporting sleeve fixed to the driving shaft supports the cylindrical shaft part of the movable half body on the outer periphery. The guide sleeve is provided to the inside of the cylindrical shaft part of the movable half body. A supporting sleeve is arranged concentrically with the guide sleeve. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
