Foot part (12) for an operating table with a support column (10) and a patient support surface comprises an at least approximately rectangular, plate-shaped support frame that rests on rollers and receives the support column. A roller housing (28) is rigidly connected to each corner of the support frame. The roller housing is approximately the same height as the support frame and contains a roller arranged so that it can be adjusted between an extended position, in which it is supported on the floor and holds the support frame with the roller housing above the floor, and a retracted position, in which the support frame and/or the roller housing rest on the floor. An independent claim is also included for an operating table comprising a support column, a removable patient support surface, and the above foot part. |
