A tripod ( 1 ) has at least one tripod leg ( 2 ) consisting of three telescopically guided segments ( 5-7 ) for length adjustment. Rotation of one of the segments ( 6, 7 ) fixes the adjusted length of the tripod leg ( 2 ).
