The invention relates to the maintenance and repairs -by technician- of electric and electronic devices, machines and, generally, of systems composed of subsidiary units. An illuminating indicating device 1 (a laser indicator for instance) is adapted to a robotic system 2 and controlled by a programmed controller 4. On the system there are stored up the coordinates of the device or system units to be repaired. The robot 2 initiates the illuminating indicating device 1 so that the unit to be repaired is illuminated and thereby distinguished by other units around. Thus, the technician has no need of consulting technical drawings or books of directions. In the frame of preventive maintenance and via stored up directories, different units may be successively illuminated and a dismounting process or successive control of units proposed. The invention can be combined with stationary or portable robots. For instance, it can be adapted to portable or table systems designed for the maintenanceof small devices (e.g. telephone devices), for the repairs of vehicles or maintenance systems of industrial installations (e.g. production lines). |
