<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light stimulating retinal examination method and apparatus used for a physiological evaluation of the retina in an ophthalmologic field, and an evaluation of visual information processing in the ophthalmologic field, or neurological and neurosurgical fields. <P>SOLUTION: This light stimulating retinal examination method and apparatus use white light emitting diode as a background light source to the retina whole region, high-intensity light emitting diode as the light source of spot stimulus light to the retina region, and infrared light emitting diode as an observation light source in the method of examining the retina by locally stimulating the retina in the fundus oculi with light and obtaining bio-signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
