<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve waterproof performance of a portable terminal having a display part. <P>SOLUTION: In this portable terminal 1, a case body 10 is formed with an opening part 13. A display window 30 is installed in the opening part 13 such that the display window 30 overlaps the case body 10 in the entire circumference of the opening part 13, and a display panel 41 is installed positionally correspondingly to the opening part 13. A double-sided adhesive tape 60 that is a first waterproof member is interposed between the case body 10 and the display window 30 in the entire circumference of the opening part 13, and tightly seals a gap between the case body 10 and the display window 30.
