PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor capable of preventing disconnection and broken damage caused by resonance, even when used under an installation circumstance distant in a distance from a sensor attaching position to a temperature detecting position. SOLUTION: Since a sensor attaching member 4 for this temperature sensor 1 is provided with a vibration reinforcement part 47 between an attaching seat 45 and a joining part 43, an axis direction dimension of an area surrounding a sheath member 8 is secured widely compared with a conventional attaching member having no vibration reinforcement part, and a movable range of the sheath member 8 is thereby limited to enhance a vibration characteristic of the sheath member 8. In the temperature sensor 1, a resonance frequency of the sensor is thereby able to be set to a frequency band different from a frequency band of vibration generated in the sensor installation circumstance, even when used under the installation circumstance distant in the distance from the sensor attaching position in an exhaust pipe to the temperature detecting position, so as to prevent the disconnection and the broken damage caused by the resonance.
