Information selection method for selecting available information on the Internet gives every Internet user a choice/display of information specific to the user/user's situation

Recorded in an object-oriented semantic structure for an ontology, available information (AI) is represented as speech events (SE) (1). An Internet user's interests are recorded in a set (2) of parameters along with conditions specific to their situation. AI is defined, based on AI defined as SE, on the representation of the user's interests and on conditions specific to their situation. An independent claim is also included for a system for carrying out the method of the present invention.
